Idaho Falls police arrested a man last night after he allegedly stabbed his roommate over a fight about loud music last week. Police responded to the 2300 block of Stace Street on Sept. 30 where they found a man stabbed several times. The victim said the attacker was 24-year-old Maurico Edgardo Tejada-Rodriguez.
Tejada-Rodriguez initially ran from the apartment, but police found him sleeping in the backseat of a red Ford Taurus. Once taken into custody, he then lied to police about his name and residency status in the U.S.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement took him into custody to work out his real name, and he’s now in Bonneville County Jail, charged with aggravated battery.
